In this episode, we will show you how to create perspective stripes using Adobe Illustrator.
First, you need to set the fill color to white and the stroke to, None.
After that, you need to create the stripes using the rectangular grid tool, so click and hold down the line segment tool button, and choose the rectangular grid tool.
Just double click the rectangular grid tool now, and a window will pop up.
Select the number of vertical dividers, and set the number of horizontal dividers to zero, and check, fill grid.
Click, OK, and, drag the grid onto the canvas.
After that, click and hold the shape builder tool button, and choose the live paint bucket tool, or press K.
Change the fill color to blue, or any other color you like, and paint the grids.
All you have to do now, is change the perspective of the grid, and you can do this as follows.
make sure that the grid is selected, so press, V, and select the grid.
After that, you need to select the free transform tool by pressing, E, and move your cursor to the left upper corner of the grid.
Start dragging the left corner to the right, and press Control, Shift and Alt all at once, and keep dragging.
So drag first, and then press, Shift, Control and Alt.
After you are happy with the result, release, and change the height of the grid.
